Chennai Music Festival

Hailed to be the world’s largest cultural event, the Chennai Music festival is a six weeks long celebration of Carnatic Arts. Previously known as the Madras Music festival, it hosts around 1800 concerts and 400 dance performances, attracting some exceptional talents from across the nation. Apart from Carnatic ragas, sabhas and Kutcheris, the event also has numerous dance performances including Kuchipudi of Ragas and Mudras.
